Why you’re here

There is a trend going around Instagram where creators share some of the reasons people follow them. I believe it is meant for the creator to share what his or her main goals are and also to name things their followers want to see and clarify why they follow them.

I have yet to do this on Instagram. But I want to do that here.

Because there is ENDLESS content out there - both on the world wide web but also in all of the different avenues of social media.

And I want to clarify who I am and why you’re here. And why I think you belong here.

You found me because you love flowers.
You found me because you were looking for something fun to do with your mom or sister or friends.
You found me because you are mom and crave relatable mom content and maybe a hot tip here or there.
You found me because in your mid-30s you’ve realized that in a loud world, you desire simplicity and beauty.

Did I name you?

If so, you are in the right place.

Over in my About Me section I tell a bit more of my story and why I started this little flower farm, but a lot of my “Why” can be summed up in those same phrases.

I love flowers (although this was a surprise to me! A newfound love!).
I was looking for something to do for myself, outside my mom-ing and wife-ing.
I still crave relatable mom content (and it shows in my algorithm).
And more than anything, I desire simplicity and beauty.

I think we can all agree that it has been weird to grow up along with the internet, and sometimes it is marvelous and fascinating, but a lot of the time it can be soul-sucking and exhausting.

And the greatest balm I have found for myself is to step outside, breathe fresh air, get my hands dirty, and marvel at nature.

If you can relate, you are in the right place.

And I am SO glad you are here.
